Gansu is advancing the construction of an intellectual property center along the Silk Road, an ancient international trade route, according to a new policy released by the provincial government. The government will roll out favorable policies to attract research institutions and businesses with an IP focus, as well as high-level professionals. It also aims to innovate financing mechanisms to promote IP commercialization and industrialization, local officials said.
